Hecate Enthroned - Kings of Chaos

Some lineup changes have altered the approach of this long-running English Black Metal band. You can throw those old Cradle of Filth comparisons out the window, try Massacre! Well, I exaggerate, but honestly, from the first riff onward a huge Death Metal influence is apparent. The guitars are chunkier, heavier, and this new vocalist can go both deep and screechy convincingly. This adds a lot to their sound, of course, the symphonic Black Metal this band is known for is still there. Perhaps they decided upon the genre’s rapid stagnation and ever-nearing burial that some dynamic flavor was necessary. Favorite track: “Blessing in Disguise.”

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
