Gwar - Phallus in Wonderland (video)

Ahh, the DVD release of this classic video from 1992. There isn’t much in the way of extras: You can jump right to the song you want, and check out stills of the cast, and that’s pretty much it. But, this is the concept video that brought Gwar to the world, I guess, and it certainly sees them at a point in their career that was a lot better musically and comedicly than they are currently. The plot that ties everything together centers around Gwar’s fight against the dick-stealing Morality Squad. That’ll make more sense once you’ve seen this, which I’d certainly recommend unless you just insist on taking everything too seriously.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
