After an intro, “The Curse of Woe” rips through the speakers with full-on Emperor gusto. The vocalist is even a dead ringer for Ishahn. The rest of the album, however, is structurally more in the vein of recent Dimmu Borgir, with more than a few pages taken out of the Power Metal and Thrash playbooks. There’s great use of melody, great use of synths, a flawless production, and a subtle mastery of tempo. Overall, a very enjoyable and competent band, Black Metal at their core, but with much stylistic variety to offer. Not to mention the best band ever with “dragon” in their moniker.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
