Black Tape for a Blue Girl - Remnants of a Deeper Purity

Seventy-six minutes of melancholy Gothic Ambient so depressing that you’d probably kill yourself if you listened to it all at once. This makes My Dying Bride sound like the Beach Boys, in terms of how gloomy it is. The mixing of male and female vocals reminds me somewhat of Dead Can Dance, but since I (unfortunately) have a rather small frame of reference for this type of music, that’s only to be expected. I recommend that all devotees of dismal and joyless music give Black Tape for a Blue Girl a listen.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
