Belphegor - Blutsabbath

I believe this is the second album for Belphegor, but I’m not sure they’re the same band I’m thinking of. Either way, this is a pretty heavy, brutal fucking album. These guys really know how to raise some Hell. Musically, this one reminds me of the legendary Altars of Madness album (if you don’t know who it’s by, fucking kill yourself now!!!) with a Black Metal singer doing the vocals. Unfortunately, while listening to this band, you can’t but compare it to Altars… because that’s almost exactly how it sounds. Belphegor is tight and they really shred, but they aren’t all that original in terms of sound. Fortunately for them, this style really works for them and if you like your Metal in the old Florida fashion, this is one to look for.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
