These guys hail from France and apparently play Viking Metal in the veins of Enslaved and early Einherjer. The first thing I thought of when I heard that they were from France was, “Vikings? In France?” But lo and behold, here they are. This is quite good, the production is thick, and the only problem I can see is that the vocals are a bit low, especially when they utilize the standard Black Metal raspy style. When Himinbjorg employ the clean, operatic style, the vocals are very clear and loud. Musically, they tend to go from the mid-paced, atmospheric style to the faster, Immortal-ish speed. The good part about all that is the fact that when they employ the all out speed attack, they never really lose control over it.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
