Featuring a vocalist who is mixed so low that he sounds like an angry neighbor next door, Gehenna otherwise doesn’t fall into most of the cliches that plague many Black Metal releases nowadays. No “spooky” keyboard intros, no thin guitars. Instead, they have a fat drum sound and the ability to change tempo during their songs. Lyrically, I don’t know where they are coming from, due to the aforementioned mixing problem, but they have a dead, naked girl on the cover, so it can’t be too nice. Okay, maybe there’s one “spooky” keyboard intro, but it’s not too bad. Certainly not ground-breaking, but better than a lot of others I’ve heard.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
