Hold on, this must be a different Bill Steer - let me check the bio… Fuck! Okay, this is totally insane. I’d maybe expect that freed from the Doom influence of Lee Dorrian, Cathedral’s bassist Leo Smee might very well be involved with a retro ’60s/’70s Rock band like this. But Bill Steer? This is about as far away from Carcass and Napalm Death as you could get. The playing is solid and so on, and I guess they do a good job with what they’re doing, but I honestly wouldn’t really know and don’t care anyway. If I had any interest in this kind of stuff, I’d go listen to the originators, whoever they might be.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
