Let me explain briefly how the Christian Metalcore bands operate. They steal (I distinctly remember the 10 Commandments prohibiting this behavior) all the best ideas from the secular bands that are doing well at the time. Yet somehow, this plagiarism is given validity by their oh-so unique beliefs and moral values. Now of course I’m being an asshole, so I should point out there are always exceptions (Hopesfall, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Zao, etc.), and in Evergreen’s defense the lyrics are not afflicted by self-righteous propaganda outright, but perhaps I sense them subliminally? When it comes down to it, I can’t honestly say (see, atheists have values) that this is a bad album, but I’d be lying (godammit, another sin) if I didn’t acknowledge that much of what I hear has been heavily borrowed.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
