Eve of Mourning (New York - USA) - A Dark Serenade

Sadly it sounds as if someone forgot to tune the guitars to the keyboard. Sometimes the vocals remind me more of Pete Steele (Type O Negative) than of My Dying Bride’s Aaron, and sometimes they just sound wrong. I think this Metal/Doom/Goth blend is an excellent idea, but the execution is terrible. Perhaps it’s due to the unbelievably bad mix, or maybe their ideas overpowered their abilities. I hope they iron out the bugs and try again with louder guitars and (way) less vocal level.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
