I’ve heard a lot of old-style Power Metal bands in the last few months, and Elegy really stands out as one of the best. They’re ultra-high energy technical onslaught is balanced out with a sort of melancholy feeling and very memorable songwriting. And I really should have known that would be the case. Not because this band has been around since the mid ’80s (although that was something of an indicator), but rather because it simply will not play in my reference CD player. And that’s the kind of luck I have. I’m listening to it as played by my computer’s CD-ROM drive right now…

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
