Electric Wizard - Let Us Prey

I’ve said it before, and because the universe sucks ass I’ll have to say it again I’m sure, but if you want the gayest, most unreadable graphic design in all of existence, get Stevie O’Malley to do it for you, as Electric Wizard has done here. Musically this is okay Stoner Doom/Rock, but it is in no way even close to their masterpiece Come My Fanatics…, but measures up pretty well against their more recent Dopethrone. If you can get past the epilepsy-inducing packaging, this band is still good at what they do, but I can see that they’ll never again reach the… ahem… highs of …Fanatics.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
