Dog Faced Gods - Random Chaos Theory in Action

If you’re into the newer Fear Factory sort of abrasive start/stop “New Thrash” crap, then you will want to check out DFG, as they do it about a billion times better, are way more aggressive, and don’t have all the queer “sweet” courses and that shit that FF do. When they let go and just get down to solidly kicking ass, this is great, but they spend a lot of time with the “chug chug, pause, chug chug, pause” sort of thing, and I can’t stand that. But the production is so awesome, and the vocals so pissed off, that I’m tempted to like this anyway. But those half of the riffs that are dorky just kill it for me.

Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
