After a fairly heavy intro, the Thrash / Power Metal kicks in, still a bit heavier than I was expecting. And considering that the principle members of D&W are from Blind Guardian and Iced Earth, this band’s ability is beyond question. But what I do question is why guys from Blind Guardian and Iced Earth would team up to form a band that more or less sounds exactly like what you’d get if you put their main bands in a blender, and set it to “puree - extra heavy guitar sound.” That’s not to say that D&W is bad, just sort of redundant. And, the band’s name gives away a great deal of their lyrical content, which might have been impressive to me when I was a little kid. Maybe.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
