Dementia - Recuperate from Reality

Occasionally I wish I had a magic mixer that could eliminate vocals. This is one of those times. Musically, Dementia is perfectly acceptable Thrash, but the vocals are like a bad Overkill imitation. Lyrics are fairly bland also. Still, if I could remove the vocals. Maybe 6 or 7 years ago, this would have been there, but now it just seems dated. In a bad way.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
