Decoryah - Wisdom Floats

This is a very tricky review for me, because this album is pretty different, and thus difficult to describe. It is heavy, in its way, I suppose, and it certainly is moving and emotional. It’s almost like a soundtrack in places, while in others it grabs a bit more guitar meat. Always a lot going on, and always very interesting to hear. I understand that this was recorded on an 8-track, so I’m pretty anxious to see what they can do in a larger studio. I sure hope Metal Blade (or someone) grabs up all the Witchhunt stuff!

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
