Corporation 187 - Subliminal Fear

The fear might be subliminal, but the boredom is very obvious. C187 seem to want to have a “modern” sound, but don’t really fully commit to it, which ends up just making things even worse. The vocals never have anything to do with the simple, repetitive, staccato riffs, but it might only compound the problems if they did. I’d have to suffer through seeing these guys live to see if they say stuff like, “Yo, yo, what up? Muthafuckin C. to the one eight seven in the hiz-ouse, mutha fuckaz!” between songs to really accurately determine how much I hate them.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
