This is some really good “old-school” sounding Death Metal. Bands like Immolation, Bolt Thrower, and Morbid Angel come to mind. The songs for the most part stay in the mid-paced range. There are moments, however, where they stomp on the accelerator. There are also some fairly impressive displays of technicality. The lyrical content resembles that of Nile in that they incorporate ancient Egyptian themes. This makes the album that much more interesting. Some serious thought went into both the lyrics and the song-writing. The album finishes off with respectable covers of Slayer’s “Crypts of Eternity” and “Disturbing the Priest” by Black Sabbath. Gods of Creation, Death & Afterlife is solid and heavy from beginning to end. An excellent debut for Coffin Texts.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
