In these days of sell-outs and wimp-outs, hearing an album like In Mourning gives me the strength to continue. This is every fucking bit as intense as their masterful When the Sky Turns Black, but this time the playing and writing are slightly improved (I say “slightly” because there wasn’t much room for improvement in the first place), and some chances are taken - mostly in the occasionally very innovative guitar solos. And as far as I’m concerned, Scott’s somewhat understandable Death growls are impeccable. There are a few minor imperfections, but this is extremely close to being a flawless album.

Rating: 9.75

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. After pleading guilty under torture, the Commission pointed out that witch witches throughout the country in exchange for their life hunter aid offered. During the four-month period, after the Aitken Commission has been identified by his was visited several parts of Scotland and detained a number of people put to the test and burned at the stake. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
