It used to be when you saw that Hellhammer was playing drums on something, it meant that it was probably going to be cool. Now it’s almost an automatic assurance of gayness. I now fully understand that Agalloch being on this label is a total aberration, they will simply sign anything different and/or weird. Musically this is nauseating Prog Rock with a little Techno and some token heaviness here and there. The singer may have a decent voice, but has the range of a Catholic priest. If I read a single Katatonia comparison anywhere, I will find that journalist and kill him.

This album Margaret Aitken, the great story of Balwearie witches. Aitken is finally driven to madness by guilt and haunting looks of my brain can not be killed by the hands of innocent girls. She has proven to be a fraud and is burned in the game itself. (Our interpretation of this story)

I saw this yesterday (12/28/15) and I didn’t want to believe it. Lemmy and Motorhead played a large role in my ill-spent youth and even though I knew it wasn’t possible, I thought that Lemmy would always be there. He lived fast and hard, just like his music. He was an inspiration to countless people and Metal as we know it wouldn’t be the same without him. He was a true legend. His Iron Fist shook the world and changed it forever. Rest in peace, brother Lemmy. You will never be forgotten.
